"ALEXSON ROY: Now, why sports massage? I already explained everything that has to do with sports massage and, pretty much, why or who it deals with, or whatever. So the thing is, is sports massage, other than any other massage, because the whole thing is that you're focusing on the joints. Joints are the first thing to go in the athlete. It's so unfortunate. As athletes, we have to deal with age. Anyways, so what we're going to do is we're going to focus on the joints, okay, and the muscles attributed to the joints. And so that's what we're going to do. And we're always going to start a massage by connecting with the client first, okay? And what you want to do, especially, with sports massage, is when you connect at this point, you're going to actually, kind of like, stretch them out, okay? You might do a rock. Okay? Or you might just do a simple stretch, okay, 'cause that's what it's all about, the stretch and pull, and that's how we're going to relieve the tension in our athletes."
