"Hi. I'm Albert Hedgepeth with Expert Village. Today we are going to talk a little bit about boat maintenance. Polishing the railings on your boat is a really easy to way to not only make it look good, but to keep people from actually grabbing on to a nasty railing. It's always nice whenever you pull up to the marina and all your railing is spic and span and polished. Most of the time, as you can see, the stainless steel won't rust throughout the majority of the metal especially if you keep it polished and cleaned on a regular basis. But, stainless steel will rust eventually, as you can see, it will start to trickle down around the outside of the joints where the stainless steel is connected to the fiberglass. Again, just use a heavy duty stringent. Go ahead and wipe off all your stainless steel. This is a good idea to do this about once a month just to clean it up, make it look good to go ahead and restore the luster of the stainless. This is a really cool feature especially whenever the sun hits it. It makes the boat look really nice and also kind of makes you feel good."
