"Hi! This is Aaron Fruitstone and Liz Muller from Chi Martial Arts in Miami Shores, Florida. You can reach us on the web at www.chimartialarts.com. The next basic Brazilian jujitsu technique that you will be learning is the knee on belly position. It is two points in the Brazilian jujitsu tournament, but it is also a great position to control, cause some discomfort to your opponent and make a transition to either a submission or mount position. So, what Liz is going to do is start at four point site control. She got her elbow by my head. She is controlling. What she is going to do is she is going to take this hand and bring it to my collar. The opposite hand is going to go right to my pants. She is going to pop up and drop that leg on me and pass the other leg out to the side. When she lifts her body up, she will be pulling all of this force into her knees. So, she is going to lift me up and the knee drives into my belly. Many people will tap from the discomfort level of the experience right away and it is a great transition from here to submission or from here to mount. "
