"Hi! This is Aaron Fruitstone from Chi Martial Arts in Miami Shores, Florida. You can reach us on the web at www.chimartialarts.com. The next in beginning Brazilian jujitsu technique that you will be learning is the back mount. At any time that you can get somebody’s back while you are rolling or practicing jujitsu sparring, it is not only four points in the tournament, it is also one of the most advantageous positions that you can be in because they can no longer rotate themselves away from you. They have your back, their hooks are in, they have your back whether you roll on your side, roll on your stomach, they’re still on the back. Okay, so what Liz is going to do, she is going to take her legs, she is going to bring them inside of my thighs and perform little hooks. Okay, this is going to brace her position. So, if I roll, she is still attached to me. With her arms, she is going to reach over and she is going to hold on to my gee. From here, she has a tremendous amount of submissions that she can work. So, it does not matter if I turn on my side. She is still on my back, if I turn on my stomach, she is still on my back. It does not matter, how I move. She has control of me, great position for the opposite person."
