"Another great fun variation of a repeater is what I call tap front and back. We keep our 8 count repeater. I'm just staying with 8 count repeaters today. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. On 6 will help you lift up and then step down off the bench. This is a little bit lower center gravity. The knees stay bent on this repeater. Step, tap forward, back, forward, back, knee, and step down, makes our 8 counts. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Again, step, tap forward, back, forward, back, knee lift, step off the bench, makes sure the heel's on the bench, and keep the center gravity low. Forward, back, forward, back, knee, down. In a step class, it's a little bit quicker. The tempo would be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8."
