"O.k, so physically for your own body, what does it take to do an aerial? Well, let's just see. There's no specific weight or height requirement. Obviously, it's very helpful and beneficial for you to maintain a very healthy diet and just to be in good shape; maybe do some running or just some stretching. But, the most important thing is just muscle to weight ratio. If your own muscles, your own leg muscles and upper body strength is strong enough to carry your own weight, then you will be able to do the aerial. Um, but some key things to note if you want to improve or just build up the right muscles to do an aerial is to work out the calves and the thighs. And especially for the left leg, well depending which side you like to do your aerial on, you could do them on either side. But basically your jumping leg, the leg you jump off of, you want to be able to do, you know, various exercises lifting your own body weight. Maybe adding additional weight just to give yourself height as you jump up. You also want to be very flexible because you're going to be kicking up with your opposite leg that is not your jumping leg. So, with the combination of flexibility and a good muscle to weight ratio you should easily be able to do an aerial."
