"Hi, my name is Tony Ramirez and on behalf of Expert Village this is how to program a universal remote control. Enjoy. Chapter 13-Changing the Batteries of Your Universal Remote: On the remote's back push the tab and lift the battery cover up, or on other units, push and slide the cover down to release. Obtain four, triple A alkaline batteries, or double A, depending on the type of your universal remote you have purchased. Match the positive and the negative marks on the batteries to the positive and the negative marks on the battery case. Then insert the new batteries. Replace the back of the battery pack. Test the unit by pressing the buttons and seeing if the LED's light up."
