Unlocking Volume for Universal Remotes

"Okay we are going into unlocking our channel lock so each individual device can change it's own channels. Right now it is on the global lock so only the cable box can work right now. So let's go in and change that. Now what we are going to do is to we are going to unlock the global channel lock so each individual device can work and you can change the channels being the television, dvd player or vcr. So what we are going to do is we are going to press cable, we are going to hold the setup button and you see it blink twice. Now the next thing we are going to press you see here we are going to press 973 and after you press 973 we are going to hit the channel down once. Now that we hit the channel down once now we should be looking into being able to control our devices."
