"Hello this is Rick Kennedy and I'm going to show you how to program your universal remote for Expert Village. So, to insure that your batteries are working properly you turn the remote to the back, you take off this cover here. As you can see it's the cover the covers the battery, pull that back down, take that off, and to see if you have proper batteries in there. Also make sure they are pointed in the right direction because you don't want them to be in the wrong slots as you can see here. Be sure they're in the right direction where the batteries are suppose to go and don't mind the mismatched batteries that we have here, but properly put your batteries in, make sure everything is clean. All these little functions right here where the leads are at, make sure they're free of acid or anything that would be a bad connection, also that can leak down into the board and the remote won't work. So you put that back in, make sure that's all clean and make sure everything is secure and pressed into the leads like it's suppose to. Put the top back on and your batteries should be working."
