"Another thing you really need to consider is where you are storing your camera. Heat can damage the sensitive electronics inside the camera but more importantly it can affect the battery and batteries can be prone to blow up if you've got it in a very like, hot glove box so when your batteries are in your camera or outside of your camera, you need to keep that in mind. Also you know batteries have a limited life span. So it's often a good idea to you know have a backup battery or just kind of keep an eye on it. If it's starting to lose its charge really quickly that could also be damaging the way the camera operates. I've had some friends who have used low batteries in their camera and it shorted things out. So keep that in mind. So avoid dropping your camera obviously because that will shorten the life of your camera and certain warranties don't cover things like dropping. They mostly just cover failures that happen electronically within the camera that aren't caused by the user. So be careful because the last camera I had it lasted me six years so I just had to buy this one."
