"The next setup I'm going to go through is using a Lavalier and a Dynamic microphone. Basically, I don't need to take you through the setup again because it's essentially the same thing. Our Lavalier's still plugged into channel one and I consider this my primary mic. Then our Dynamic is going to be plugged into channel two. Always just make sure you're switched over to this channel one and you'll be getting those two channels of audio. A situation I see for this; maybe you've some kind of shoot where you've got like a host and you want to make sure that host has on a Lavalier microphone. And then, for some reason, maybe they're going to pass a microphone around a crowd to a bunch of people. Then you would want a Dynamic microphone, like this, that that person can just hold up and talk into and then get some great voice out of just holding the microphone up to them. That's maybe a situation. Definitely think about your situation and then what mic setup is going to work best for you. Just like we connected the Shotgun to channel two, we're going to connect our Dynamic to channel two and then set levels for it. That's how you set up a Lavalier and a Dynamic microphone, and the reason why you might be using that."
