"Now I'm going to talk about troubleshooting the Lavalier. Lavaliers are great blah, blah, blah. Hopefully you could hear that, and that is probably our main problem. If you put on your Lavalier and then you start testing your levels, this is what you hear, let me just let you hear, something awful like that. Maybe your Lavalier is set up too high, a person looks down and it scratches against their chin or it's scratching against clothing. Those are your main problems. So, I'm going to quickly turn this up just a little bit better. I'm going to set it right here, which is where we had it to begin with. It should sound a lot better now. The reason it sounds better is because it's down a little bit more and you're not going to get as much weird noises when I look down or whatever it's a little bit more in a central position. Also, I make sure that the Lavalier is sticking outward and has no chance of rubbing against any clothing. That's probably your main problem is you'll hear some noises like that, and it's the Lavalier microphone is maybe folded in and started rubbing against clothing as people are doing things. You definitely need to try and figure out the best place to get that mic where it's not going to rub against anything. Definitely try to set it more around the chest area instead of way up here, or else you'll get lots of weird stuff happening up there. That's a little bit about troubleshooting your Lavalier microphone if you're having audio problems with it."
