"Another lingo of step would be corner to corner. It's taking some of your basic steps and just moving them on an angle to face the corner of the benches, such as a knee lift, corner to corner. In this movement, I have 4 counts. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, so on each side makes 8 counts. I can use a what we call a lever variation where I can push the leg out to the side, increasing the intensity. A long lever movement is going to be more intense than a short lever movement. I'm going to come around again so you can see the movements. We have what we call lift steps facing the corner, so corner to corner lift steps. That's a knee lift. You might see a variation of a kick, or perhaps a hamstring curl, or a hip extension. Facing the corner, so I'm moving from corner to corner, adding the intensity, adding lever variations. You'll see the movements in combination with our choreography as we move along."
