"It's finally time to actually record some video. Maybe you got bored and you've already recorded some video, but I got a couple of things I can show you as well. To record, we're just going to hit our record button right here and then, we'll just move it over here so you can see. You can see in our display that we've got our little record icon going and our time code's running showing us that our tape is recording. Hello! What a great recording this is. Alright! If I hit the record button one more time, I'll go into the record pause mode. Now I'm ready to start recording again if I want to, I just hit the record button, but I'm not recording right now. One other cool thing that I want to show you is this little button down here, right below the magnify button. Basically, it will rewind the tape just for a few seconds and show you the very last thing you recorded. I'm going to go ahead and hit that and just watch our LCD screen to see what happens. Automatically rewinding, and it's going to play, and we get to see the last few seconds. There wasn't anything there because I'm just filming a wall. But, it's a great tool to use, function to use, if you just want to make sure you see what the last thing recorded was and a real easy way to see what that is without messing up your tape position, without having to go into the VCR mode and then play back the tape and all that kind of stuff. This is just to show you some basics of recording."
