Now I'm going to talk about the viewfinder. It's pretty apparent this is the viewfinder right here. This is the eyepiece that you can look into and see what your camera is seeing, basically. A few things on the viewfinder, if you look into it and it's all blurry and you're like, 'Oh, what's wrong with my viewfinder?' You can adjust the focus down here, which is great if you wear glasses, because then you don't need you're glasses to get a focus in your viewfinder, you can just adjust the focus right here until it's set for you. Definitely, if you look in there and it's blurry this is why, so go ahead and do that. Another thing, you see I moved the viewfinder up? Try not to let direct sunlight get into the viewfinder as much as you can. If you're outside and it's on a tripod, you don't want to leave it like this all day because that cold actually damage the screen inside. I would just put it down, and just we wary of that, that the sunlight can damage in there. I'm going to show how to adjust some settings on your viewfinder. Obviously, you can't see what I see inside the view finder, so I'm going to have to show you that on my little LCD screen. I'm going to hit the menu button and then we're in our menu. I'm going to go down to 'display setup'. In 'display setup', you see what I'm on right now it says 'CVF setup?' That is your viewfinder. I can't go into it right now because the LCD screen is open, but I'll go ahead and show you what you'll see if you go in there. You have these options for brightness, contrast, color, sharpness, and backlight. Brightness, that's fairly obvious. Contrast, the more contrast in colors. Color is going to adjust the color. Sharpness, is probably nice to have a little bit more higher sharpness, it'll help you with the focus. And then the Backlight, which basically means how bright it is. I like to leave these on the default settings because I want the picture I'm looking at to be as close to what is recording as possible. If I brighten up the LCD screen a whole bunch, or excuse me, the viewfinder a whole bunch then when I'm looking at the picture it'll look really bright, but in actuality it's just the viewfinder and not what the camera is recording. I would say leave these pretty standard, leaving the settings on what they're already at and maybe increase the sharpness. That's all about the viewfinder on your XH A1.
