"The next mode I am going to talk about is night mode, it's represented by just a little moon and basically this mode is used for kind of some, using automatic settings when you are in a very low light situation, something like nighttime. The thing with this mode is, what it is going to do, is it's automatically going to adjust to lower shutter speeds based on the amount of light. But what that means, like when I showed you the shutter priority earlier, when the shutter speed gets lower you start to get some of those trailing tracer images. Like, they call it a trailing afterimage, so that could be a problem, it could get kind of distracting but that will only happen if you are in extremely low light because it is adjusting based on the light. And I'll say if you are in that low of light, try to at least get under a lamp or something, or an overhead light to make things look a little bit better. The other thing with this mode, picture quality is not going to be as good and that is pretty much what happens when you get into a lower light situation anyway. Also white points may occur on the screen, and auto-focus is not going to work nearly as well, because auto-focus has a hard time working in those low light situations. So go ahead and like, that 's just basically, this is like auto-mode for night. Go ahead and throw it on if you're in a low light situation, see if it helps you get a better exposure."
