"So now I'm going to start talking about the, the operating modes on your XH A1 and actually get the camera turned on. So the XH A1 offers a whole bunch of different operating modes ranging from basically your all like automatic where the camera does everything to a completely manual setting and you set all your settings manually with these buttons. Personally I always use manual settings because I like to have complete control over the camera but I will be walking through, walking through each operating mode with you. So basically turning on your camera and switching operating modes happens all right here, this little dial right here. On the outside you've got some audio monitoring but to change operating modes you'll see a little gray button, you press and hold that and then you can switch through and all the different operating modes are up here and we'll be talking about them shortly. But I'll just put it on auto for now and then turn your around here to see this. Here's where your standby and lock is, I've almost always got it on lock. This basically means like if I'm in manual mode I don't want have to, I don't want to turn the camera off each time I want to you know, save some battery. I just want to put it on lock which will turn the camera off but save all my settings. So basically if I switch to standby the camera actually comes on and I'll go ahead and shoot everything that I want and if I want to stop I'll just lock it and the camera will turn off and then I can leave my settings over here just as I had them. So that's a little bit about operating modes and now we are going to go through each one. I'll tell you what it is good for and what you can do with it."
