"ALICE MONSAERT: We're going to advance those lunges one step further, and we're going to take it to a crane position. What I mean by a crane position is a balanced holding position after you finished your lunge. So we're going to continue walking across whatever space that you have to do your walking lunges. All your safety features of standing nice and tall and lowering down your center of gravity are going to apply in this lunge sequence as well. So we're going to take the same lunge that you did. Lunge. Now, as you lift, you're going to lift the trail leg and come to a balance point. So we call that a crane position, like the bird, the crane. So down and lift, and, again, in this I'm holding my hand weights down. You have the option to hold them down on your hips, in front, or resting above your shoulders. So you're taking your lunge and adding a challenge of trying to hold that up position after each repetition, and lift and lunge and lift and balance. So that's your walking lunge adding the intensity of the balance challenge, walking lunge to a crane."
