"Hello, this is Nikolai Pancreet (phonetic) with American Resource Network for Expert Village. We're going to be shooting a bunch of clips, so make sure you go through all of them, because we're talking about international trade, and how to set up your business in a small place. And that's how usually a business starts, you know. You don't usually start with millions and millions of dollars. So this is for a common person that is entertaining the idea of getting into international trade and international business. So we're going to discuss about setting up your office and communication. And the technology today that is available for you, which you should definitely take advantage of, because it's going to make transactions flow fast, efficient, and very practical. Well, when I started, and I've been into many many different projects, communication projects, shipping of containers, construction. Because I speak several different languages, I have probably 20 years of experience, and then I was thrown into this whole global change that's been happening about 20 years ago, and the world today is completely different. I remember the time when you paid three dollars for a minute, just to make a call to Russia or to China. Well, today you can do it for free. And time is of essence; time is money. So today, with one-third of the world that used to be Communist turning to Democracy, there's obviously big changes. There's constitutions written, laws changes, and the implementations of the laws. There's huge opportunities. But mostly, if you're going to be dealing in America, assuming you don't know the language and so on, we're going to be discussing about that too, you will be dealing with that part of the world most of the time and with major ports, like the Suez Canal, the Caspian, the Black Sea and the Mediterranean Sea, or the Panama Canal and major ports that are located in all those regions. For example, if you're dealing with Eastern Europe, you are definitely going to be using the Baltic Sea, St. Petersburg, Leningrad. In the Black Sea, the entire or half of the country of Russia, for example, is going to be going through the Port of Novarasisk and through the Mediterranean Sea. Many times the ships stop in Egypt and in different places and actually, the beauty about the whole thing is you can real-time. If you set up your office properly, and you use the technology, in real-time you will be able to follow the ship right on the computer and see where it stops, how long it's going to be in that port, and time it and have an idea when it's going to be in America to for unloading."
