"Hi, I’m Tom Choisnet, enrolled agent, tax accountant and perhaps you overheard I was talking about unemployment being taxable. Unemployment is taxable and make sure that you put it on the return because it is better to be put on the return than to hear about it from the IRS a couple of years later down the road. One little thing about unemployment taxation is that if you have a pregnant person in the house and that person took the family leave sometimes that is taxed as unemployment even most of them are disabilities. So if a person happened to be out of work at the time that the blessed event starts make sure that the, that you look at the tickets that come in because they will tell you whether or not they are taxable and they are usually right so make a little note of that. Thank you for watching and take a look at some of the other clips I have, thank you."
