"Hi, my name is Tony and on behalf of Expert Village, this is "How to Use Your GPS: Basic Edition," of course. Let's go! Chapter Eight: Using the Traffic Option on the GPS. Again, with this system, the TomTom One, what we are going to want to do is go into our menu section. Simply click the screen. Once the screen is pressed, you'll see the option in the top right called "TomTom Traffic." This is a feature that requires the use of a cell phone. We're going to teach you how to connect your cell phone in a later chapter. So in this instance, we'll just click it real quick, just to show you. It's asking us if we want to connect to the TomTom PLUS series. We are going to say "yeah." As I mentioned, in a further chapter, we are going to show you how to connect a phone. Once the phones are connected, it will actually connect to TomTom PLUS. In TomTom PLUS, what it will do is, it will update your itineraries or it will give updates. So, in the event that there's an accident on your travels, it will re-route you completely (side roads; whatever it takes to get you around the traffic). This is a "plus" to have. All you need is a bluetooth phone with data capabilities. "
