"This is Ron with Expert Village talking about putting together a garage sale. The last and final thing of course is that everybody gets paid and gets paid properly. Have one person who is good with accounting, pull together and make sure they add up properly every category and you take the subtotals of each category of who made what and you add it together as a whole. Count your money, make sure you deduct any money that was originally put in if somebody maybe the grandma went and put $20 of change in, make sure you don't add that into the total you must deduct that from the total amount and then divide up who made what. It's always of course best just to give them cash right then and that way everybody can be happy. Don't wait time, do it the day of, maybe even as everybody starts to clean up if one person wants to go right then, go ahead and organize and split the money up. That way everybody can go home, as soon as you're ready to go home you can take your cash with you. You've had a great time, had a great garage sale and you're ready to go home."
