How to Sell More Items at a Garage Sale

"This is Ron with Expert Village and I'm talking about putting together and making the most out of your garage sale. Now if you really want to make the most money out of your garage sale be friendly. It's a simple thing but when you walk up to a garage sale and somebody is sitting over there and they look mean, you know what I'm going to glance at a few items, if I don't see something I really, really want I'm just going to walk away. Be friendly, when they come up it's simple but hey, how are you doing? Some people don't really like to talk, if they don't like to talk as you can usually tell. Don't sit there and try to talk to air off, just make yourself known. If they are a talker that's okay, let them talk because if they are a talker and they want to talk to you then that's fine let them talk. Because if they feel happy and comfortable with you they're are more likely to buy stuff. Maybe you can also make incentives. Like if you have your baking goods, maybe if you buy over $2 worth of items then they can get a free cookie or some type of incentives. You know buy 3 pairs of clothes get 2 free. Simple little things like that can really help you make more money out of your garage sale because people are going to be spending just a little bit more."
