"This is Ron with Expert Village and I'm talking about making the most out of your garage sale. Now that you've done all this work, you've got everything organized, you've got up there and you put your ads, the people are going to start coming. The most important thing is to don't let people walk away. If they walk up to a bicycle exercise machine and you haven't used for 10 years and maybe you had $25 on it because well you know you payed 200 for it. But if someone walks up and they're interested, then you know what when you see that interest be willing to negotiate. Maybe they can only afford $15, but you know what if they're really interested it can be a real blessing to them to be able to get this item for cheap because maybe it's something that they've always wanted to have but they couldn't afford it. So take into consideration the other people. If you have clothes items and can tell somebody really likes the clothes, but it's marked at $3 and maybe they can only afford 1, be willing to negotiate. It's much better to have somebody walk away with 3-$1 items than it is to see something that's $4 and they just walk away empty handed. So be willing to negotiate on your prices and that will help you make the money out of your garage sale."
