Tips for Scheduling a Garage Sale

"This is Ron with Expert Village and I'm talking about putting together a garage sale. Make sure you have a schedule figured out. If somebody works maybe you're starting on Friday and you have a multi day Friday, Saturday, Sunday garage sale, you want to have a schedule of everybody. It's much easier if it's multi family in the regards of the schedule because somebody can cover for each other. So if somebody can't make it till 3:30 or 6:00 on Friday, then you want to have one person designated that, okay I'll be here all day on Friday, you can cover me Saturday morning maybe they don't want to get up early in the morning or maybe somebody is better at clean up that they can come in midday. Somebody who is going to be over the food and cooking the food, then you're going to need somebody else to cover for them. So you need to have a loose organization of when and when they can not be there. If somebody has a specific thing preplanned and they just can't make it on a certain time frame, then just have that organized so that way you have a specific schedule and you have somebody always at the counter, always sitting down, always being able to watch your merchandise and always being able to take the money and stuff like that."
