Inside vs. Outside Garage for Garage Sale

"Hello, this is Ron with Expert Village and I'm talking about putting together a garage sale. One of your big decisions is should I have my garage sale inside or outside. If you actually have a garage it's often times great because you can prepare the night before without having to worry about people coming up and stealing it. Now, the only problem is that often times the thing to take in consideration is that an outdoor garage sale when it's spread across your yard which would technically be a yard sale, but when it's spread across your front yard a lot of times you'll have people who are not even remotely looking for a garage sale that will just see all the stuff and you might have a bicycle out there, there might be an item that catches their eye as they're passing by and they'll just stop and check it out. If we have it out front typically we will sell more than if we have it in the actual garage. This particular year we had to put it in the garage because we were not for sure if it was actually going to rain or not so we did not want to risk having everything out in the rain, so we went ahead and had it in the garage. So the weather might play a factor in deciding if you want to have it inside or out."
