"This is Ron with Expert Village and I'm talking about putting together a garage sale. The next thing you want to do is the night before make sure it's late at night so that way you don't have people showing up at your sale the night before. But late, late at night as late as you can maybe right before you go to bed get your signs out and go put out your signs. You're going to want nail them, for instance on our garage sale we went down about a mile or so away, we put our first signs out. Then within 100 yards of the garage sale we put 3 or 4 signs with arrows that way they knew they were coming up on one. Signs are vital because if they can't find your garage sale they're not going to spend 30 minutes they're just going to move on to the next one. Also if you don't have a big front yard sale, then signs also help that. Remember to go pick up your signs at the end because you can use them again next year."
