"Hi my name is Richard Buccola of Starlite Karaoke here in New York City and on behalf of Expert Village today we're going to show you how to start and run a successful karaoke business. I want to talk about adding flare to your show, pizazz, unique, I think I'm unique at my shows and a lot of people tell me that I'm very friendly I think definitely, definitely help you got to have an up beat personality, you got to be a little outgoing, got to be a lot of outgoing. And this is a business where going to be trying to mediator of a whole bar or a whole venue. Now realize your never going to have 100% of the people happy but your trying to make 80, 85% of them happy. So in my show I always try to make friends with everybody I try to remember everyone's name, and that goes a long way remembering peoples names. And then introducing people to each other and that a lot of people that I've met because of me it's about 6, or 7 couples that are married because of my shows through the last 7 years so that's pretty good. We have a big karaoke contest that we do every year during this year is $5,000 first prize, that's a great way to market your stuff. I also do things like tambourines, maracas just getting the beat going that's a great way to get the show going and always be nice to everybody you never know who your going to met. So again if someone looks like you know they might not be somebody treat them like somebody, treat everybody kind, I'm telling you that's going to go a long way. Your going to have to deal with a lot of people are drinking alcohol and stuff like this but again treat everyone nice have flare in your show be unique do what works for you, I'm sure your going to rock out, keep singing. My name is Richard Buccola of Starlite karaoke and on behalf of Expert Village thanks for watching."
