"Hi my name is Richard Buccola of Starlite Karaoke here in New York City and on behalf of Expert Village today we're going to show you how to start and run a successful karaoke business. Just want to talk a little bit about maintenance , maintenance is very important to me I believe that which is simple maintenance of your tools, these are your tools I mean take good care of them. For my laptop I always keep it dust free I have that spray dust in the can that I use and also use a nice cloth made for computers to wipe it down and I keep it in a good case. Same thing with the board you realize your working in a bar where you might have people smoking and even though there's no smoking in New York City you'll be surprise what goes on sometimes, but okay you might have a party where there's smoking aloud and smoke is a real killer of electronics. Also be very careful maintaining when you travel I have my computer my whole setup goes into the back of my car very tightly and very securely. So if I hit a pothole lord know in New York City we have a lot of those and that's a real big big thing. It's electronics if it's bouncing around and cause something easily can come loose and it could ruin your shows so in maintenance is very important. With cases and taking care of your stuff wrapping your cords the right way, just taking care of our stuff it will take good care of you."
