"Hi, my name is Richard Buccola of Starlite Karaoke here in New York City and on behalf of Expert Village, today we're going to show you how to start and run a successful karaoke business. Okay so some of the other things I also want to talk about is signage. Signage is simple ways of your getting your name out there. Business cards, business cards come really cheap. On my business card I have my logo, which is my name, my phone number, my email address, very simple, very very simple. Keep it simple stupid, that was what my uncle use to always tell me, which is the abbreviation for KISS, keep it simple stupid. So we have our business cards a good way, keep it simple. Shirts, her is a shirt that I had made up, very simple just my logo on the front, starlitekaroke.com on the back. Another great way, free also here in New York City the bars will get banners from their beer companies and what I always try to do is whenever I know I'm doing a venue at a place and it starts to pick up after a month or so that I'm there, I tell the beer company could you get my logo on a sign and say, Karaoke Thursday night here at Nevaklins and so that's an easy way to definitely get some more signage out there. Also like your bars my have little table tents on them that have the drink specials of the days, you might want to put your name Starlite Karaoke at Nevaklins Tuesday nights or something like this. Easy ways to get your name out there, again."
