"Hi, my name is Richard Buccola of Starlite Karaoke here in New York City and on behalf of Expert Village, today we're going to show you how to start and run a successful karaoke business. I'm going to talk about advertising. In advertising you'll be surprised a little thing like this, these are the sheets that I use to handout for people to write their name on for them to come up and sing and for their song title. But you'll notice here on the bottom here I have your email. That had to be one of the biggest things that I've done 7 years ago, because now 7 years later I have over 3,000 emails of people right here in the neighborhood. I utilize the web by having my website of course, but what was great there were websites like cafepress.com, which let me put up all of these things that I could sell as far as merchandise like my shirts and hats, coffee mugs and they did all the work. For all these website that I'm talking about I will put something in my bio that you can have a late to so you can go and check them out. I recommend reading as much as you can and that was one of the main things I did, I started typing in karaoke in the computer and I started doing everything else that everyone was doing."

on 8/2/2008 WOW! I had no idea I could get so much information about starting a keraoke business -- everything from selecting the right equipment -- to using and maintaining it. And yes, so much more. The information was very basic, yet thorough and the video fun to watch. Thanks! sarabecca77 :)
