Video Transcript

"Hi, my name is Richard Buccola of Starlite Karaoke here in New York City and on behalf of Expert Village, today we're going to show you how to start and run a successful karaoke business. Hi, I'm going to talk about marketing your karaoke business. I'm going to talk about different areas of marketing your business from getting your name, a logo, a website, a dot com address, I'm also going to show you how I use the internet to help my business grow. I also used little things like business cards, putting my name in penny savers which are like the local newspapers in my neighborhood. I try to put my name and logo on everything that I do and every show that I go to, from even little things like even my karaoke book that holds the encyclopedia or my music. On each page you're going to see that I have my phone number, my website, my name and these are little ways to get your name out there. Biggest, biggest thing I think of course if you have a million dollars you can be on television and you get advertised, but the biggest advertisement you're going to get in this business is word of mouth. When we come back I'll talk about each individual thing that helped me as far as advertising."
