How to Use a Karaoke Monitor Screen

"Hi, my name is Richard Buccola of Starlite Karaoke here in New York City and on behalf of Expert Village. Today we're going to show you how to start and run a successful karaoke business. Alright, I'm going to talk about your monitor. I use a flat screen monitor and what's great about this monitor it's actually a computer monitor which are very cheap now, you can get them pretty affordable. Again, look online you'll be surprised, do your homework. What your monitor is going to do is going to bring the words up when the person is singing. Also from my laptop I could split this and go into their television systems at a venue. Like I do a lot of bars here in New York City, so I tend to plug my system into their TV's but this is so that I can have something for the singer to sing up close so they can see it and they don't have to be looking elsewhere. So again get yourself a good monitor. You'll see also by your program you could have your name up there, your slogan and it tells you who is coming up next, that sort of thing. So we'll be talking more about utilizing logos and advertising little things like this, but again I'm just talking about monitors, so do yourself a favor get a new monitor, get a good case for it, it'll last years I promise you."
