"Hi, my name is Richard Buccola of Starlite Karaoke here in New York City and on behalf of Expert Village. Today we're going to show you how to start and run a successful karaoke business. I'm just going to go in quick detail on the equipment I use for my karaoke show. First and foremost I have a laptop, also a battery pack comes with a laptop and I also have an external hard drive which is used for storing extra music. I have a mixing board, this is used for controlling your songs and your music and your mics. I have a cordless microphone with a transformer, I have a cord mic with a mic stand which is part of your hardware and I also have a goose neck mic. I have a monitor for your words, seeing the words as the person sings. I also have speakers that have an amplifier in it so I don't have to carry an amplifier it's already in here, plus stands for lifting the speakers off the ground. I also have cases to keep all this in for maintenance purposes."
