You will learn exercises such as the slingshot, the sidepress and the deadlift, that will help you build strength and flexibility. You will also learn the proper starting positions for performing each of these exercises so as to prevent any injury from occurring. Kettlebells have been around for the last 500 years or so. Did you know however, that they have just recently seen an increase in popularity due to their acceptance by the military and law enforcement as a viable exercise tool? Kettlebells are different from free weights because of their handle which gives them a displaced center of gravity. In these videos you will learn how to properly work out using kettlebells, as well as where to purchase them.

I’m going to give you a brief introduction or history of the kettle bell or Russian kettle bell. Just recently kettle bells have become extremely popular here in the U.S, mainly in the last five years. Kettle bells have been around at least for the last hundred years or so. Approximately in the 1940s they fell out of favor just because gyms started sprouting up all over the country. But before that they were extremely popular here in the U.S. and Russia. Just recently a gentleman by the name of Pavo Satzline brought the kettle bells to the U.S from Russia and he introduced them to the military, law enforcement and elite athletes. "
