How to Interview for an Entry Level Job

"I'm Don Varney of Varney Speaks and on behalf of Expert Village. Today we're going to talk about the interview process. There are a few point that we need to cover in the interview process. Let me ask. The first question would be, why would you take an entry level position at a company where you really feel that you're more qualified to be at a middle level entry. Sometimes what you'll find in a company is you have great upward mobility opportunities. Get your foot in the door. If you've decided this is the company that you want to be employed by, get hired. If you're as good as you say you are, you're going to be able to move up through the ranks. You'll find that promotions will come to those that are actually doing the job. It's one of the beautiful things about being hired at an entry level position. It's also probably the easiest place to get hired into a company because they're looking for someone that will come in, do the job. Basically, a very 1, 2, 3, 4 type of job. Get it done, do a good job, enjoy it, be happy, show what they've got, and then move to the next level. If it were me and I couldn't get the job I wanted, I would consider getting taking that entry level job."
