"I'm Don Varney of Varney Speaks and on behalf of Expert Village. Today we're going to talk about the interview process. One thing that in this day in age that's starting to happen is the rude interviewer. I've had people who have told me that they were just rude. I don't know what the deal was. It was like this person just did not want me there. They were totally rude to me. Well the thing that we have to realize today in this environment is sometimes jobs are high stress. One of the techniques that's beginning to happen from the interviewing stand point is they are purposely pushing your button. They're trying to find out how you handle stress. Do you get upset? Are you argumentative? Do you fight back? What is it you do? One of the things in this workplace that I'm in is I'm just curious how a little gal like yourself think you can handle a man's job? As far as the experience that I have, I've been working with some really great people. All together, we work as a team, and I think that is really what qualifies a person to be in this kind of job situation."
