on 8/2/2008 Aaron's jump front snap kick is different from another Expert Village video series, kickboxing by Chemin Alldredge. She also jumps vertically, but uses the front leg for the snap kick. Aaron's is obviously more challenging, and, I imagine, will generate more power when mastered.

on 8/2/2008 Maybe the best way to learn this is to use the front leg mid-air as the kicking leg, then "graduate" to the rear leg?

"Hi this is Aaron Fruitstone from Chi Martial Arts in Miami Shores, Florida. You can reach us on the web at www.chimartialarts.com. The next technique that you’ll be learning is a mid air front snap kick. Mid air in Tae Kwon Do means that we’re jumping vertically up, not forward, backward or sideways. You’ll do this in order to gain more force, allow your hip to turn into your opponent and in tournaments, your receive more points for flying technique. Tournaments you’ll receive two for a flying kick to the body and three for a flying kick to the head. With your hands up you’re going to crouch slightly, jump vertically and execute a front snap kick, out and in. Again, you’re in your on guard position, flex the knees, jump vertically, knee up, out, in and return to your on guard position. At normal speed. Again from the side, crouch the legs slightly, jump vertically, and lift the knee, out, in and down. Normal speed. We’ll be back."
