"Hi this is Aaron Fruitstone from Chi Martial Arts in Miami Shores, Florida. You can reach us on the web at www.chimartialarts.com. The next technique you’ll be learning is a low knife hand block. This is great when attackers are throwing low to mid kicks. You’re protected basically from your belt level all the way to the center of your thigh. You’re going to take your right hand palm up, left hand palm down, just as you did when you did your low outer forearm block, same hand position. Hands are loosely clinched, you’re going to slowly rotate your right palm and open the hand, the elbow will be slowly bent and the left hand is on the belt. Again. Right hand palm up, left hand palm down, with the right hand on top, rotate down. Normal speed. And with the left. And we’ll be back."
