"Hi this is Aaron Fruitstone from Chi Martial Arts in Miami Shores, Florida. You can reach us on the web at www.chimartialarts.com. The next technique in advanced Tae Kwon Do will be a mid-air 180 degree back piercing kick. This is one of the more complicating techniques to throw and its great when your opponent is starting to crowd around you, this doesn’t take a lot of room. Now this technique can be done either straight up in the air or jumping backwards which is known as evading when your opponent is coming forward. If they’re starting to crowd you by taking your space, you’re going to flex your knee slightly, you’re going to jump straight up into the air or slightly backwards, rotate over your should, looking with your back leg extended straight out and in, and land in your on guard position. Again you’re turning 180 degrees in the air, so the opponent is coming, flex your knee slightly, jump straight and rotate, extend out and in, and return. At normal speed from the crouch position. Again. And we’ll be back. "
