Judy of A-BnC Parties and More, Inc. demonstrates two methods to show you how to curl ribbons. For the first she uses a scissors, on the second, her finger nail. Helpful in decorations, finishing off balloons tails, putting final touches on wrapped presents, etc.

Step1
Select your ribbon. Select your ribbon. Take a ribbon from a balloon tail, wrapped package, or other decoration.
Step2
Scissors shown underneath the ribbon. Scissors shown underneath the ribbon. If right handed, hold the ribbon in your left hand, and the scissors in your right hand. Open the scissors and place underneath the ribbon.
Step3
Pulling the ribbon. Pulling the ribbon. Pull the ribbon down along the edge of the scissors.
Step4
Finished. Finished. Your curled ribbon is shown.
Step5
Ribbon upside down. Ribbon upside down. An alternative is to use your fingernail. Here you turn the ribbon upside down. Put your thumb nail on the ribbon.
Step6
Pull along nail. Pull along nail. Pull the ribbon against your nail while placing pressure on the ribbon. You may have to repeat several times to get the result you are looking for.
Step7
Finished again. Finished again. Your finished curled ribbon.
