Creating Curb Appeal When Selling a House: Part 1

"This is what we call curb appeal. Basically people are going to drive by your house to see what it looks like from the front, so it is very important that you do little things to make your house look more presentable. For instance over here you've got some junk on the corner. You definitely want to get rid of that. Before an open house or before you put it on the market, make sure you pick up some of the trash and sweep around. If you can paint, that is great. If you can't afford it, that's okay. Make sure you remove graffiti and all those kinds of unappealing things. One of the things you can do is change the numbers on your fence. Very simple, very inexpensive but it adds something. Remember curb appeal is what somebody sees as soon as they see your house from the car. Now let's go inside and see what else we can do. "
