"Hi! I'm Rob Lowes from Carlson Wagonlit and Lowes Travel on behalf of expertvillage.com. Today we are going to talk about trip advisor. In this clip, I am going to speak about documentation. Perhaps the most important part of your travel is your documentation because if you don't have the right documentation, you don't get on the airplane. Obviously passports these days are almost mandatory for entry to many countries. Not necessarily every country, but many countries. So it is advisable to have your passport up to date especially if it is going to expire within the next 6 months. Many countries will not let you in if your passport is going to expire within that time frame. Many will let you in if it is going to expire tomorrow but it is always wise to have that updated. Many countries such as Brazil or Russia may require a Visa to enter the country; China is another one and everyone would require a VISA to enter those countries. This can add significantly to the cost your vacation or business trip as well and it may take some time so it is not something you can do very last minute. Two to 3 weeks is a normal processing time for one of those Visa's and they can be as much as $200, so keep that in mind when you are planing your trip. You must have the right documentation or there is no sense planning a trip at all. "
