How to Trim Ribbon

"PAMELA YAGER: Okay, so before I get ready to start embellishing my ribbon, I'm going to trim off the edges because some of 'em just were not exactly the right size and sometimes when you also wet the ribbon with the glue, it sometimes stretches a little bit. So I just trimmed off the sides so it looks really nice and neat. And I'm going to embellish it. And I have to think about, before I embellish it, what am I going to use to embellish this with. Well, there's a lots of things I could do. I've decided to pull in some other elements from the party, which are these Mardi Gras beads. Now, I've used these Mardi Gras beads in some past little guest name tags which are handily over right here, these guest name tags. Here they are, and so I've used these and I'm--that's what I'm going to use for this decorative keepsake bachelorette party frame, these beads also because--well, they remind me of one of the aspects of the party which was the guest favor and it's also decorative, so it's a keepsake and memorable item. And that's what we're trying to do is make the frame a memorable piece that's going to go in her scrapbook. And so what's--how do we get these off the strand?
