"There are a number of things to think about, first of all, I think, when you're selecting your gown. The first one is to, picture the portraits and the pictures, after the wedding and that's what you're really going to have, after all that's said and done, for the next 20, 30 or 40 years to look at, and you want to look back at that and say "wow, I really looked good. That was a great dress and I really felt like I was beautiful, that day." You want to be the second most beautiful woman, at the wedding that day, the bride, of course, being the first. Color is important but one thing to remember is you want a color that looks good on you, you want a color that blends with the wedding party, you want to do a color that might be either in the same family color, a pink, a blue, or a green and do shades of that color or do the same intensity perhaps jewel tones or pastels but have some idea of how this is all going to work out in the pictures and you'll be really pleased with your selection, in the end. There are a lot of different colors offered from many of these dress. Some lines will offer 15 or 20 colors but that, sometimes, takes longer to manufacture, while as, some of the companies will offer three to five colors, and they might keep hanging stock, so if you have a very specific color, you really need to give them extra time to manufacture that."
