"Hi, This is Melody on behalf of Expert Village. I’m going to show you how to pack some clothing that will make it easier to put them in a suitcase and also save some space and hopefully keep them a little bit wrinkle free. On this piece of clothing I’m just pulling a hood down, so it’s got some sort of flatness to it. I’ve got it facing down with the zipper zipped up and what I’m doing here is just taking the arms and kinda bringing them toward your back, like toward your spine if you were wearing it and folding it that way and then I’m taking this arm and folding it back toward the edge again. I’m trying to create a bump free, neat package here, as many flat things as can be possible with something that’s a little bit bulky. And you can do this with your sweatshirts too, where you just pull the arms towards the back and then flip them straight down making the edges neat and as many flat areas as you can. If your sleeves are cuffs or bulky, I would not advise folding them over like this, this garment is not bulky and so we’re just going to have them that way. Now, depending on what’s going on in your suitcase, if you have large spaces or small spaces, this particular kind of garment can become hugely bulky, so sometimes the flatter the better. One of my arms escaped, there and here is the garment now, nice and flat. It’ll be fresh and not wrinkled in the front when you go to put it on. And we’re going to go ahead and put this in our suitcase. If you have to, you can fold it in half, but like I say, these are pretty bulky, so the best thing is just to find a nice wide space for them to go into. In our next segment I’ll be showing you how to fold a garment that will go into a suitcase nicely and hopefully wrinkle free."
