Understand What Paperwork is Needed to Teach in Thailand

The first thing you will need is a valid B visa in your passport. Okay. Now, if you do actually come to the country without a B visa on, say, a tourist visa, you can go find the work and then the school will give you the necessary paperwork to be able to leave the country and get the B visa. The next thing you need to be able to do this is a valid degree. Now the degree could be in any subject. And it doesn't have to be English. But it must be a BA. You need your transcripts to go along with that and a letter of guarantee. Now, especially, if you don't have a degree in English, you will need a TEFL certificate or, or/and a TEFL diploma. Now something else that's becoming quite strict here now is that they're actually starting to ask for a police report from your own country. So you must acquire a police report before coming. And last, but not least, you need two copies of a health certificate that is valid within six months. Okay, that's what you need to teach in Thailand. Thank you."
