Activities on a Cruise Ship

"Hi! My name is Melissa Schenk on behalf of expertvillage.com today we’re discussing cruise traveling tips. Now let’s talk about some cruise ship activities, what is there to do aboard a cruise ship? Really what isn’t there to do aboard a cruise ship? When you are sailing those are known as your sea days. Lots of different things to do at sea depending again how many sea days you’ll have will depend on the length of your cruise, perhaps you’re having a 7 day cruise with 4 ports of call so you’ll have 2 sea days. On those sea days take advantage of everything there is to do aboard the ship so that when you’re in the port of call you’re not missing out on anything. A lot of things are also closed when you’re in the port of call on the ship as well, we’ll get to do that in a few segments a little bit later on. Now in the evening that is really when things begin to come alive, you can go to the theater, you can go dancing, you can go to the various clubs, there’s all kinds of different kinds of dancing, all kinds of different kinds of bands as well from big bands to jazz to wonderful singers, musicians, it’s really like a floating city aboard the sea, it’s a wonderful experience and you know you’re going to have a great time at it. A couple of different things you might want to think about too when we’re talking about budgeting. Do you want to pay for any activities while you’re on the ship? You might go to the boutique and do some shopping, you might also go and take advantage of the spa some things are free in the spa and some things aren’t, they also have some great sales when you are in the port of call as well. I’ll tell you about that a little bit later on in up coming segment. "
