" Hi! I’m Stephanie Phillips with expertvillage.com we’re going to talk about travel time. Okay you’re ready to leave, you’re getting on the plane, how far are you going? How long is it going to take you? Even mistake most people say, “well oh my gosh it’s only going to take me 3 hours to get there, or I’m only going to California” well if you’re connecting in a plane you may fly 2 hours then stop in Dallas, stay there 2 or 3 hours and then go on. If you’re crossing the international dateline you may be going to let’s say Hawaii, that’s not the dateline, no but you may be going to Bora Bora, if you’re going to Bora Bora you’re going to get there 2 days later from the day you left and when you come back you’re going to leave on the same day and get back in the same day which you’ll of have traveled 22 hours and that’s only on the plane, your connection time could add another 10 hours to that. When you’re traveling make sure you know how long it’s going to take you and that’s not even if planes are delayed, ships are delayed, transportation is delayed or security issues come into play. Remember your time is has to be though about in terms of your trip allowance, you’re going away for a week don’t go too far, don’t waste too much time trying to get there and trying to get home. If you’re going somewhere like Bora Bora give yourself 3 weeks, if you’re going to be 22 hours traveling just to get there, my gosh you need as much relax time as you can, remember keep travel time accurate."
