" Hi! I’m Stephanie Phillips for expertvillage.com we’re going to talk about how to get a visa. First of all when you’re getting a visa the first place to go is travel.state.gov that website alone is going to give you the places to go for a visa and it’s also going to give you the information that’s required for a visa. That particular website is then going to have you complete an application for a visa, now when you’re getting a visa the ironic thing is the based on the country that you’re going to that actual application along with your passport and along with an additional photograph is going to have to go the embassy for the country where the visa is required. For instance if you’re going to Australia it’s going to have to go to an Australian Embassy and here in the United States the Embassies are located in different parts of the country Washington, Miami, you never know how long it’s going to take sometimes it only takes two weeks to get a visa back, sometimes it takes three months to get a visa, the earlier you get it the better. Once you get a visa it’s going to be put inside your passport page and that’s where it’s going to be permanently. The visa is essential to travel to places like Australia you’re not getting on the plane if you don’t have a visa, remember you can go to travel.state.gov you’re going to complete the application, it’ll give you the embassy location that you have to go to, they’ll mail it, you’ll mail it out to the embassy location, that’ll get you your visa very important for travel."
